BISHOP JOHNNY HOLLEY Bishop Johnny L. Holley was converted in 1952 and received his call into the ministry a year later. Bishop Holley is an ordained minister of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, he and his wife began their ministry by serving at various levels of the ministry of South Flint Tabernacle in the Detroit, Michigan area under the pastorate of Rev. Albert Abbey. The Holley's later served as interim pastors of the apostolic church of Midland, Michigan. Bishop and Sister Holley then evangelized for a number of years until they were called to pastor Happy Valley Pentecostal Church where they served from 1986-1995. Rev. Johnny L. Holley was elected to the Pastorate of Landmark Apostolic Church (now First Pentecostal Church) in 1995 where for eleven years he led the congregation through great times of revival. Bishop Holley was and is a great faith preacher as well as a strong pillar of the great Apostolic Doctrine. During his years as pastor there were many lives touched, souls were saved, and many healings and miracles witnessed. Bishop Holley has mentored many young ministers, sharing his love for the truth of God's Word with these young men, which today continue to preach and stand firm on the truth that was taught to them. After being ordained as Bishop in 2005 Bro. Holley began feeling that it was time to seek a younger minister to pastor the church. So in October 2006 at the age of 77 Bishop Holley resigned the pastorate and accepted the position of honorary Bishop of FPC. Bishop and Sister Holley remain very active in ministry singing, teaching, preaching, and leading as great examples of Godly Servants. Return to Ministy Team Page |
